The short version: you can use every part of this site without telling us anything at all. If you choose to give us your email address, we use it to send you the Little Meadow letter: new sheets, seasonal activities and news from the meadow. We do not sell it, we do not share it, and there is no advertising. You can leave at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
Who we are
Little Meadow Stories is a trading name of Scribespire Limited, which is the data controller for the information described here.
Little Meadow Stories and Oxfordshire Meadow & Hive are trading names of Scribespire Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 15090317. Registered office: 1 The Briars, Waterberry Drive, Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO7 7YH.
For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete what we hold, email hello@littlemeadowstories.com.
What we collect, and when
Only your email address, and only if you type it into the sign-up form yourself. There is no account to make, nothing to log in to, and no shop. Browsing the site and downloading sheets requires nothing from you.
We do not ask for your name, and we never ask for anything about your child: not a name, not an age, not a birthday. The sign-up is for grown-ups, and the sheets are the same for everybody, so there is nothing for us to personalise and nothing we need to know.
Why we are allowed to have it
Your consent, which you give by filling in the form and then confirming through the link we email you. You are consenting to the Little Meadow letter, which carries new sheets, seasonal activities and news about Little Meadow Stories. That second step exists so that nobody can be added by someone else typing their address in. You can withdraw consent at any time, and unsubscribing does exactly that.
Who else sees it
We use beehiiv to store the list and send the emails, so your address is held on their systems. They act on our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes. beehiiv is based in the United States, so your address is transferred outside the United Kingdom under the safeguards in their data processing terms.
Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or swap the list, and there is no advertising on this site.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, at which point your address is removed from the list. If you never confirm the link in the first email, the unconfirmed address is dropped rather than kept.
Cookies, and the counting of visits
This site sets no cookies, which is why you have not been asked to accept any. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser and does not follow you to other sites.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, as every website host does. These include an IP address for a short period and exist to keep the site running and to stop abuse.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can withdraw your consent at any time. We will not charge you and we will reply within a month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Changes to this notice
If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is a significant one and you are on the list, we will say so in an email.
